the use of the hewland and formula car style a arms would make room for some pretty good tunnels.if you have seen what an atlantic or champ car uses for tunnels.that is what i thought would be cool on a lotus.so at the rear bulkhead that is where the tunnel would start to ramp up.then your lower a arm would be in the tunnels(most formula cars use a streamline shaped tube).if you could pull this off.the car would have huge down force with low drag.this idea is a bit of a pipe dream but would be really cool if you could afford to do it.
