In just a few days the magic THREE YEAR milestone will be reached. One can only hope the world doesn't run out of oil before this build is complete. I take my hat of to you Sleepless. You have remained steadfast all these years where many would have fallen by the wayside. The gentle ribbing of fellow Lotus owners has not swayed you from the righteous road you have chosen to follow. Rain may have poured down upon you during the long winters of the North West. The sun may have baked you during the three days you call summer, but through it all you have remained resolute to your cause. Satan's spawn aka Ronin has tempted you with the twin evils of super and turbo charging but you have seen through his pathetic attempts to recruit you to the dark side. Many have fallen, tempted by Beelzebub's scheming ways, but you have remained, driven not by talk of psi and inter-coolers but by the purity of high rpm and exhaust note. While you may dance with the beast from time to time you have seen through the dark angel that is Porsche with its foul forced induction, and seek instead the purity of natural aspiration. I salute you Sleepless, bringer of light and redemption.
Now hurry up and finish the bloody thing, preferably before I end up in a zimmer frame taking my sustenance by straw!
