How can I find out more about the LCS Novice class, it sounds perfect. Track days are fun, but I wouldn't mind actually getting some "times" in the book, have something to shoot for, etc..
I'm all in, what do I have to do? :-D

To get started with LCS, check out rules at
Lotus Challenge Series
as that covers what is required to participate, e.g.,
6 track days of experience,
4 point harness,
fire extinguisher, etc.
Sign-up at
Lotus Challenge Series or e-mail that info to Jim

LCS numbers are optional at your 1st event, but by 2nd event get your numbers at:

Then sign-up for event with the Event Registration link at

The Novice Class for next year is about easing folks into competition for the time trial, so that Novices compete among themselves until putting down competitive times for their car class.
As long as you have the 6 track days of experience and somewhat up to speed, fine to come out and use LCS as track day, learn from others, take some instruction if you like, get some rides, and join in the time trial when ready. Check out the wheel to wheel racing and see if that is of interest.
Send me a PM or contact others listed on the LCS web site, if you have questions.
