A Tesla owner and I wave at each other every morning on the way to work.
They are built by Lotus.
You better believe we are friends.
At the L.A. Auto Show a while back, the Tesla people asked me as a Lotus owner, where to put their fix-a-flat containers.
By the way, most Lotus owners are driving their cars far too fast to notice anything around them, much less other cars.
