some thoughts on this
Kaz:
I have the same issue and went through a long series of tests and evaluations a couple years ago to address it. I did the repositioning exercises, and it seemed to get better, but didn't go away. I then went to the optometrist to get some reading glasses, as my vision was changing (welcome to my 40's), and told him of the vertigo issues, and he tested my distance vision and discovered that I was a little bit weak at long ranges (I hadn't noticed this). So, very light prescription driving glasses and bingo, I'm much better. Also, even now, if one of my ears gets partially plugged with wax, I get the same symptoms of dizziness and lack of focus after driving.
Just some more info to consider - my situation was a bit different, as I was having symptoms every time I drove, but if this helps you, then all the best.
