I had the calipers painted at a local custom auto/motorcycle paint shop. Cost was $400 for the 4 calipers (+ $100 for pinstriping to the calipers and engine covers). I removed and disassembled the calipers myself, thus reducing cost. They used regular auto paint (custom mixed) with a urethane lacquer/clearcoat. Whole process took about 2-3 days including their prep and drying between coats. Someone posted that Huntingridge can do it in 3 hrs, but I can't imagine that will be sufficient - the lacquer itself needs 24 hrs to dry/cure.
I opted for regular auto paint as opposed to high temp since I will use the car for general road use only, and high temp paint is generally limited in color choice.
Originally I was going with black pinstriping on the calipers but when we did a test, the black color was very muted and tended to look like shadowing of the raised lettering. The silver had a more contrasting effect.
I've also given the calipers a Rejex treatment to try and keep the brake dust off.
