I have used a caliper specific epoxy paint that you mix together and just brush on. It had absolutely excellent results, The nice thing is you remove nothing more then just the wheels to get the job done. No overspray, no disassembly required. I dries to a thick, resistant, and shiney finish for about 50 bucks. Several years later and it still looks like brand new calipers and always gets noticed from others. Its also very easy to clean as it dries to a very smooth non porous surface.
