The A048's that come on our cars from the factory say LTS. These are also available through the dealerships as replacement parts.
The standard A048's that you can buy through TireRack or other tire shops say MH on the side. I'm told these are virtually identical to the LTS compound.
There are two other compounds available only in Japan, M and S.
Yokohama is currently looking at bringing the M compound into the US market.
I don't know when it will happen, or if it will happen for sure.
I've tested them, and I like them alot. They offer just a touch more grip than the MH and LTS compound, and seem to function best within a slightly colder temp range.
