It certainly is something DIY guy can do - I have not had the resources to write up DIY level instructions at this time, but we do offer one on one support to help you get it up and running. There is what can be considered a quick reference guide for the pro installer who pretty much already knows what to do, and just needs some guidance on the specifics.
It's not rocket science, this I can assure you and any competent mechanic would not have a problem at all. It's more time consuming than anything.

Yikes! Sorry, not intentional. My sweetheart would kick my butt if she realized I did that as she's a tried and true motorsports lover herself. LOL
Thanks for the kind words.

wow...how much for installation at your facility?

That is something I'd rather quote in private. Lets just say we are taking care of the customers that order our product and it's under $1K and roughly 12 hours billable time.

Will your kit work with an 06 model with its dbw? Do you recommend a new heavy duty clutch and having 2 oil coolers? Have there been any longeviety worries about the Celica transmission with the extra torque / HP?
|
It certainly will work with the DBW. No issues there at all. Believe it or not the stock clutch is holding up surprisingly well! At this point, I'd say use till you smoke it. 2 oil coolers is not a requirement, but highly recommended. I have not heard of any problems with the Toyota 6spd in the MR2 Spyder conversions. The lightweight goes a LONG way to not stressing it like a 2600lb Celica.
