I would like to add to the heap of praise for Eko's HID kits.

I was initally worried about putting in HIDs for the dip beams. I had read of problems with other cars or kits ... things like making the near distance viewing over bright, or the HID bulb not being a match with the focus of the stock projector lens; but I'm releived to declare those fears unfounded with this kit in this car.

The mid distance viewing is 10 times better and the far distance viewing ... 20 times. (Eye dyno). I spent some extra time making sure the aiming was correct and the shutter placement was exactly where I want it. I used a beam falloff of 7 degrees. The viewing is now near perfect. I feel much safer.

The quality of the connectors included in this kit are tops. Any EE's out there like me will get a big grin looking at them. They match the connectors on the car perfectly. Only issue I had was difficulty in mounting the passenger side ballast - had to go get an extra long bit cause my drill wouldn't fit in there with the AC hosing in the way. Took me about 3 hours and that's probably cause I was taking my time. There's a tricky part where you have to birth a connector through a pinhole rubber grommet - the labor only lasted 2 minutes. The rest was snapping parts together.

Do you enjoy working on your own car from time to time? Looking for a 3 hour job that will end in complete satisfaction? Want to be proud of the quality of the components you're installing in you car? Wanna improve your chances of living during night driving? Then pick up Ecological's kit.
