Bulkhead fitting is visible with hatch closed. I just noticed this today.
You can see the fitting in the gap. I enclosed a picture.
Bulkhead fitting is Stainless Steel (custom machined part) .
Washer and nut are stainless steel.
Kits come with custom ground drill bit for clean cut through fiberglass.
Install will require a small amount of silicon sealer. I put silicon on the bulkhead fitting flange and around the stem that passes through the bottom of the trunk.
