I received my HID kit (50w 4500k) last week and had the opportunity to install it Saturday. Start to finish took about 2.5 hours, pretty simple thanks to darkSol's instructions (THANKS). The hardest, most time consuming part of the install was bending the wire retaining clip with needle nose pliers and getting both sides to stay latched- once both sides would stay hooked I put zip ties around the base to lock them in place.
RESULTS: Consistent with other reviews, this is a night and day difference.
This is what our cars should have come with from the factory. My pics don't illustrate this before/after difference as well as others....... I feel comfortable driving at night now.......Thanks for the great service Chester
I also took the opportunity to install some SilverStar high beam bulbs.
