Are there any sound differences between these new ones and the older vonhep exhaust? Can you keep the heat shielding in?
Also, any chance you'd do custom order tips? I love the look of the stage 2 flush tips... but just not sure about the twingle to be honest. |
Def, not sure if anyone else has any sound clips. Maybe someone else will chime in. The only difference here is the tailpipe so the sound is virtually identical to before. The only difference is that the twingle is pointing more or less down at the road which creates a very very slightly different tone as the sound waves bounce off the ground. As far as other tips, about the only other options would be a big oval, which I posted a pic of earlier or maybe an oversized single, maybe 3.5", both flush like you're after. The tips are interchangeable and need to be about 5" long with about a 35 deg slash cut so there are probably other ones out there. The reletively short length makes a real dual just about imposssible. The diffuser exit single is really growing on me, I think it's my favorite one. It's toatally unique and looks very purposeful, especially with the stock rear panel installed. Drop me an email if you're serious about a custom tip.
