I think the Venom kit has a mode that is more progressive than the traditional harsh power on of most Nitrous kits.

I did the dirty deed and added the Zex nitro kit. It is awsome. My friend has had the same kit in his Toyota with the same 2ZZ engine, for almost one year, with no problems and smooth running. He runs 100 shot, but wee really don't need that, as we now blow him away too.

I will run Moroso for real numbers in the quarter, later in the next few weeks. The car sticks like glue, even when you blast it on, in a turn. No need for any fancy stuff either. It just runs straight out and smooth, without bleeding out the lines, which are 15' long. It just goes !!!

The kit cost $500 and a tank guage was $45, plus a blow down tube to make it track legal, $33. We don't need the blanket either, after a twenty minute ride, as the trunk heats up just fine. I ran my dyno cold, without any warm up in the trunk. It might be a little higher in hp.

2004/2005 Elise, Sport pkg., Red Lux. pkg., hard top, Exige silver wheels, 175 whp with a TurboXS Intake, and now a Zex Wet 75, Of You Know What!.........Gives Me 229whp and 185 torque to the wheels, with no heat blankets or special anything needed. It lasts a long time with the 75 shot and two or three gears needed here and there. Fuel Air Mix starts around 15 and drops to the 12's all the way to 8200 rpm's...nice and safe. No lag, no bogg, just instant take-off!
