okay after reading the other day that a powder coated gas door cost someone $150. i about fell out of my chair! (no offense Dave)

so i went out to the garage and picked up a can of paint that matched my wheel color. the can cost me $1.

there was about 20 cents worth of paint left in the can and i used maybe 35 cents worth of wax and tar remover(paint prep to remove gas).

so 20 minutes and maximum of .55 cents later here it is!

and yes the car needs washed and polished. the paint is a metallic anthrasite color so you get some funky effect in the photos.
