I like the idea of having the remote display up high like you installed it.

Yeah I have the remote display mounted the same way in my M3. Its up high enough to see it easily and still kind of hidden.

How did you route the wire from the remote display to the back?
Did you run it back underneath the center console?

I also routed the wire on the outer door sill, tucking it underneath the black plastic. If you open the driver side door there's a groove where the plastic sill meets the painted car body... I tucked the wires there. Then I just routed it behind the driver's seat and plugged it in. I didn't have enough length in the wire to route it behind the back panel....

Now that your hands are already all cut-up you might as well go ahead and extend the range of the key remote. That was by far the worst for me. My hands looked like I was wrestling with a herd of cats...

Hahaha! The remote range fix was one of the first things I did... surprisingly, I didn't cut up my hands for that Thanks again for your bracket , I love it!!!!
