I've actually been using Mr. C's mount as a camera mount. A few bolts and washer from home Depot and voila! I wanted to post some pics, but it's hard to take pics when my camera is mounted in the car. If you are only using the V1 or the camera, and never both at the same time, you may want to think about this.
