Last Saturday I washed my Elise for the first time all by myself. I did it at work. It was great, easy, and fast. I have washed my other cars by myself and it took hours and was not easy. Whatever they use at the dealership is great. The chemicals make it so the car is shinier and if I don't want to dry it, it will air dry without streaks. I used a shammy (I think that's what's called) to dry it because it seemed so cool. Next time I'll try to let it just air dry. It was a great experience over all. I was smiling the whole time and felt more connected to my car. I also saw that it's not easy to wash the car, especially the rear because of all the access to the trunk.
