Now that I have over 1k miles on my Von Hep Exhaust, the sound is a lot nicer than when very new. I take the car for 2-hour trips regularly and it does not bother me as much as it did right after installing it. I still think my car is loud when I am not in the mood for spritted driving but I do not want to drive my Elise without the Von Hep. Even my wife likes it. I am going to put back the snorkle. Maybe the extra few dBs are from it.

Overall, I recommend the Von Hep. Great product quality, and support. It took me a total of 2 hours to install it with home garage tools (BTW, I usually pay to get work done on my car but after looking at the installation instructions, I thought it would be stupid to pay for the installation, so I did it myself). I have the single tip coming out of the stock difuser. It took just 2 hours because I did not remove the license plate, cover, and insulation.

There are few tunnels in DC. I make sure I pass through them at 7k+ rpm each time I go downtown. The car sounds great, even better than the YouTube video clip.
