The really sad thing is that Lotus could have factory-installed a full alcantara dash, sills, and center console for probably $1-2k, cause they could mass produce, eliminating the cost of doing all this custom. |

Your right, the change in weight is nothing but I'll do without the need to recover this stuff after the alcontara starts to contract from heat and sun.
How about this: simpler is better. But then again, who give a rats ass about what you think.
