I'm not sure where you're going to see near 1G during normal driving, unless you're on a roadcourse. Most autox'es don't even see forces that high. So, if you *are* pulling 1G+, i wouldn't see why your warranty would cover it.
I could see where Lotus would frown on someone cracking into the oil plumbing & installing an accusump, but I suppose it's better to be safe than sorry.
