Here is a sense of the dynamic capablities of the Elise during yesterday's autocross. The car can surpass 1 g in cornering and braking. It can briefly hit around 1.2 gs under braking and can briefly corner at about 1.15 or so during transients, a bit over one g steady state. AO48s, about 60 F, cold tires, LSS springs, LTS dampers, SSR wheels, firmed up sway bar. The graph shows a friction circle which is lateral gs left and right and longitudinal gs up and down. They often look like apples when you gather data. You can also see a partial track map and a graph comparing two runs where you can see relative speed and the "time slip" which highlights where you are gaining or losing time.
