I've already talked to Canton about this, and was wondering if the 1qt would handle the load okay. I'm not professionally racing this car, so i'm not in a need to have a large quanitity of oil on hand.

I asked if the 1qt would work, because I think I could fit that into the engine bay somewhere. That way, I wouldn't have to take up any trunk room. Here's their reply:
I specified the 3 quart high pressure Accusump unit because the 2ZZ-GE supposedly has an oil pressure of 60 PSI. It may be a good idea to confirm the oil pressure at the sandwich plate adapter (while the thermostat is open).
