Best flying vacation?
When I was about 18 my dad flew me and my younger brother from Texas to Oshkosh, Wisconson, for the largest fly-in in the world, in his 1929 Travel Air Model 4000.
Open cockpit, radial-engined bi-plane with no radios; cruise speed about 105mph, four fuel stops each way. It was awesome.
