My guess? Someone dumped their 'S because they didn't care how much they got raped on the resale and wanted out of their car ASAP.

To some (e.g. many here) an Exige S is a fantastic, rare, and amazing car. To other's it's one of their many toys and perhaps this one may have been too quirky for the previous owner's tastes----so off to Carmax with a Coke and a smile.
