if you are a dealer, you know that you have a lot of lattitude on wether or not to help a customer out. from personal experience i can say, and people who know where i came from can back me up, that lotus cars is willing to twist their own warranty policies beyond all recognition to accomodate loyal customers. if you are having trouble with a dealership i urge you to begin talking to your regional lotus cars field representative. i think you will find that unless you have been extraordinaily hard on your car that lotus tries to come good.

the people at lcu are all good people and i am ashamed of some the crap they have to deal with.

if you want to encourage lotus to leave us all high and dry in the states, go ahead and go class action. the way the pound is trading they are probably finding it hard to make money here anyway.

We also know there are known unknowns; that is to say we know there are some things we do not know. But there are also unknown unknowns - the ones we don't know we don't know." (rumsfeld)
