Picked up the car on Friday night. Drove it all weekend, and so far no problems. No strange noises, and the engine seems ok... so far...
I have to drop it off again to have them fix an unrelated issue with the air bag.
Will keep everyone posted, although it seems with the number of people that have had the same issue, people should be very cautious if they see their oil light start flickering!
