Just thought I would share my troubles this morning. Someone may have already posted this but I did the mod to extend the reach of my key fob by pulling the antena wire out from the loom and leaving it behid the passanger cover. I did not add on wire or anything just pulled it loose from the loom. It did increase my range to abut 30 feet. After words whenever i have the car unlocked in the garage my wireless linksys router would not conect to my computer I had to go in and change the frequency of the router from 3 to 1 there are 6 choices for frequencys. Just thought this might help someone out. I only wasted about an hour thinking my internet was the trouble.:wallbang:

Connect Blackberry stereo out to head unit A/v mini

Hi -

I have a couple of decks with the A/V mini female hole in the front. Is there a cable that can take audio-only from my Blackberry stereo mini plug?

Everything I am finding is A/V to RCA to connect out from the A/V to a TV, etc.

Thanks in advance.

Speaker advice needed--please

I've searched and read post after post and still can't decide what speakers to buy for my new install. Have purchased an Alpine PDX-5 amp and JL Audio Sub 10" that will be housed in a carbon fiber box between the seats on the rear shelf. Am trying to decide what speakers to use in the front and rear. Have thought about JL Audio Evolutioin C2's 4" in the front and 5.25 in the rear. Also considered buying Jim's ring adapters and also using 5.25's in the front but am worried the C2's might not fit up there. Or Infinity Kappas, or Polks, Focals or MB Quarts. Bottom line, I don't know what I want and am not smart enough to decide. Any suggestions what would fit/sound best with this amp? Don't mind spending more to get a better set up. Just need to get something so I can take the car to the installer. Thanks in advance for any help!

I know several guys/gals here have the Alpine IDA-X305 in their Lotus. I was previously stuck on buying the pioneer DEH-6100BT. But I've convinced myself that I have no use for bluetooth, as I'm not sure it'd work well in a Lotian environment (yes I just made up a word)

So anyway, I'm hoping one of you has a photo handy....so I could get an idea of how it'd look.

Feel free to leave your review of the headunit as well.
