Anyone know the extent of the damage? I can't see what's going on underneath the clam.

Is it totalled? Possible toe link failure...

I was driving ~65 MPH when the back end broke loose hard. I heard a thump right before it happened.

It sure looks totalled to me, but I thought I would share the pics. I am going to try to get some better pics of the RR suspension ASAP, so we can try and figure out if this was a toe link failure or a driver failure.

In any case - inspect those links well.

Help, do these cars have frame damage?

I am new to lotus's so not sure what the frame underneath the clamshell look like. I have been trying to find a elise/exige that has been damaged for a lower rate since I will be putting a TW wide body rear clamshell and other misc parts on it. I found a website with 4 good looking ones on it (I think)
Salvage LOTUS ELISE for sale GRAY 2005 year North Hollywood CA – lot 15204742 - repairable, damaged, wrecked autos | Car From US (http://www.carfrom.us/2005_LOTUS_ELISE_c6090333)
Salvage LOTUS ELISE for sale BLUE 2005 year Long Island NY – lot 16556330 - repairable, damaged, wrecked autos | Car From US (http://www.carfrom.us/2005_LOTUS_ELISE_c6076773)
Salvage LOTUS ELISE for sale SILVER 2005 year Long Island NY – lot 16609325 - repairable, damaged, wrecked autos | Car From US (http://www.carfrom.us/2005_LOTUS_ELISE_c6145916)
Salvage LOTUS ELISE for sale SILVER 2005 year San Diego CA – lot 15232164 - repairable, damaged, wrecked autos | Car From US (http://www.carfrom.us/2005_LOTUS_ELISE_c6104270)

Please see if any of them are in shape to be drivable/trackable (new word?)

Any suggestion where to find a elise/exige would also be helpfull, Thank you in advance.

I found a bone stock elise for 22K with 8700 Miles and they say they can add a stage 2 exhaust for $250. the front and the back clam have been replaced. the shop said a mower hit front in their lot and someone backed into the back parked.

sounds like a good deal, but what should i look out for?
