Carolina Motorsport Park

I'm obviously an amateur at many things, including video, posting video, and driving. But here are a few laps at Carolina Motorsport Park in Kershaw, SC. Event sponsor was Turn One. I got 350 miles in a day and a half. My 12th track weekend. Knowledgeable critics welcome.

Sorry, not a knowledgable critic here - just someone that's done that track a couple of times. Love it.

You do turn 6 better than me!

From memory I think I took it up a gear down the back straight - I'm not suggesting that is correct.

Do you have the stock ECU?

Thanks for the vid - now I'm itching to get back there!

"The kink", turn 10, has me intimidated a bit. Note the myriad of skid marks after it. This kinda holds me off 5th. Can still get to 120, 100 over the bump at 10. I'm sure braver souls use 5th though, going through faster than I.
I'm glad to get some video of CMP on this site though. Now, more speed into turns, hit the curbs.......
Stock ECU. I've been working to maintain cam as much as possible. Good fun.

Yeah now the summer heat has gone, I really want to get back there. Do you know when the next day is?

I am signed up for the Friday lapping day - it's $140. I don't know if they still have openings, but would be great to have other Loti there.

Below is a portion of an email I received from them a couple weeks ago. It has the pertinent contact info.

Brian

Hello everyone... this is a reminder that we still need instructors and beginner and advanced drivers for our Oct 11-12 TZC/THSCC DE at CMP (MotorsportReg.com : MotorsportReg.com > Online Registration for Driving Events). Lots of room available for the Asphalt Ventures lapping day on Friday Oct 10th at CMP as well... a cheap addition of lots of track time. There are also a few spots left for Chuch Hawks' advanced driver clinic that day as well (MotorsportReg.com : MotorsportReg.com > Online Registration for Driving Events)
