The group rate didnt get into their system yet, it has to be manually entered, should be later today or tomorrow morning...

Please pardon me as I've been on the road for a couple months. The Laguna Seca event is news to me. Hats off to the LCS for a job well done. Good luck to everyone, have a safe event.

You guys are in for a treat!!!

Congrats guys you are going to love Laguna, was always one of my favorite tracks to race! I know you guys have done several events but, there's no prize given in first session......so take the time to get the feel for the track and get all your references in place! Don't worry at all about lap times in that first session......get the track in you mind! The rest will all fall into place. "In order to go fast you have to be relaxed, that means no death grip, no white knuckles, and NO holding your breath!! When you're relaxed, you'll feel the car, and when you can feel the car......well, speed comes easily!"

Have fun out there guys, wish I could be with ya!! ~Doc~

Doc Bundy ...one of my Lotus driving heroes!

Any chance we can get you to Bill's track in Austin for some coaching?

Shine,
Sure I'd love to come out, Bill's been tryin to get me out there for awhile. It would take a couple of laps to see where it goes and then we could get on with it!! When are you thinking about?

Since it's been over 100 degrees for 18 of the last 20 days here in Central Texas, I think later in the year would be much more enjoyable. Other than the first two weeks in October, I can make just about anytime work. I'm sure your schedule and Bill's will be harder to synch than mine.

Hey Doc! I didn't know you were a member of the forum! You were my instructor back in 2000 for the "Porsche Driving Experience" at Road Atlanta... I had a blast, thank you!

Doc Bundy welcome to the forum. I met Doc in 1994 at Morosso race track for a lotus esprit day. I even have a picture I am going to post if I can find it.
Doc and I have been discussing some opportunities together recently that I think everyone would enjoy. Stay tuned....

Work Sucks

Well, I am so pissed off. I have to work out of town the week of Laguna and now can't make the event. I have registered (paid) for Thursday and Friday. Is the event filled, meaning, can I "sell" my spot?

Unfortunately not. Brian also asked since he needs surgery on his hand i offered him if we sell out on Thursday meaning 25 paid participants I would have no problem refunding his money. That offer stands for you as well. We still have 14 days to the event and there are other people interested in attending. Keep your fingers crossed.
BTW how is the new motor coming along?

How far away are we from being filled on Thursday?

Motor is still being built.

Thanks... and you're right. I took my 993 Turbo autocrossing a few times; but was never motivated to take it to a track. I took my Exige autocrossing twice, and the next thing I know I'm in the Lotus Challenge Series, modding the crap out of it.
