With two LCS run groups and a relatively easy and safe track, easier for relative newbies to join LCS at this event. Complete newbie can run with West Coast Lotus Meet on Sunday and check out LCS that same day and on Monday.

Look forward to meeting some new Lotus brethren/owners.

If you are planning on staying in Pahrump, better make reservations soon. I believe that the Best Western is almost fully booked already.

Spring Mountain ..... here we come ..... great track.

My last time there with the 2-11 kicking some P-car butt during a PCA Event.

Too late; both The Nugget and the Best Western are sold out.

Any recommendations? Jim?

EDIT: So I've got Saturday night at the Nugget, and Sunday and Monday at the Best Western...

Red Rock is about 45 minute drive to the track... distance ~45 miles.

Red Rock is an awesome place to stay. My favorite place to stay in Vegas. It's at the edge of Las Vegas, so it's not like staying on the strip. It's a bit of a ways (40 min) from the track, but a nice drive.

apk,

It may be a bit pricey but you could always stay at the Chicken Ranch right in Pahrump.

I think they only charge by the hour, not the night.

It's called Sheri's Ranch, a Resort and Spa, and they have day/night rates (room only) or so I hear.

We are sharing the track on Sunday with the west coast lotus meet. They are charging because the track is charging for spectators and lunch.
The LCS is not benefiting 1 $ on this.
Jim

Yeah, I don't get it either. I'm taking in the track day, and my wife would like to come and watch, but $40 is excessive. I can see charging an optional $15 for lunch, but can't see why anyone would come to the track to use their spa, workout room, or whatever else they've got. Is there a No-fee option to simply come and watch without using any of the facilities?

p.s. Well, at least it's good to know that it's not GGLC or Lotus' doing.

Looks like everything is booked in town already. What's realistic travel time from Vegas?

45 minutes from Red rock resort. I do it both days , easy travel. There is a less expensive option at the silverton. I have a call into a couple hotels to see if we can get a block of rooms.
