Time trial will be on Monday and there will be a race on Sunday and Monday.
This will not change since we did this last year and several members said it was not fair because they are competing for the championship and did not prepare for two time trials.

All LCS entrants participate in the time trials. There are two run groups both days intermediate and advanced.

I just got a non smoking room at the nugget using Jim's name...$79 for saturday, and $59 for sunday. They also had smoking rooms available without the jim discount. $89

Just an FYI that we will be having lunch in the beautiful clubhouse on Sunday and Monday for those who wish to join us. It will be catered by the Nugget and they have been doing a good job. It will cost $20.00 per person.

I just confirmed with Doc Bundy that he will be attending LCS #9 at Spring mountain. I know I have mentioned this before but this time he is joining us. He has been busy coaching at Daytona recently and is looking forward to meeting all of us.

If you are interested in having Doc coach you at this event please let me know. This is a rare opportunity to have someone with the history and knowledge of lotus cars be in your right seat.
I know Andy K. had him as a coach and enjoyed the experience.
Doc will also be conducting chalk talks and giving race pointers.

Maybe we are having an exhibition match and he will take on Sargent Slaughter or another Pro Wrestler lying low in the LCS..... hhhmmmmm

I took the Porsche Driving Experience back in 2000 at Road Atlanta... they had a group of professional drivers as instructors. I considered myself lucky to get Doc Bundy as my instructor... I had never tracked a street car before, and he gave me some excellent pointers, as well as some inside info on the line at Road Atlanta. Really great guy...
