For the local hotels, just keep trying the Best Western and Pahrump Nugget -- they sometimes get last minute cancellations -- mention that you are going to Spring Mountain especially at the Nugget. Or, just stay at the Red Rock -- it's a 40-45 minute drive, no traffic and quite pleasant scenery.

Look forward to meeting you.

If it were me, I would likely stay at the Silverton Hotel Rather than RedRock hotel.
1. Silverton is off I-15 and Blue Diamond (only 35 -40 minutes straight shot to track) SAME AS REDROCK
2. Silverton is likely cheaper, but certainly closer to the strip and night life as well as a very nice hotel.

both very nice and great offerings.

In case it helps, my buddy Gary and I will be staying down there Friday through Sunday nights, maybe Thursday through Sunday. We're at Palace Station, because red rock and silverton are booked on Sunday. We're just a couple of dirt bag mountain bikers, so if you want to share a room with us, that's totally fine. I'll be at the West Coast Lotus Meet activities (at least some of them) which are centered at Red Rock. Then, at LCS Sun, Mon.

cheers,

free set of used front tires

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone at SMMP.

I have a pair of Toyo R888's 195-16 (fronts). They are used. I don't remember how many heat cycles I put on them, but they look pretty good to me. If anyone wants them they are welcome to them.

PM me and i'll bring them up to the LCS event at SMMP.

I know, and I am too easy on tires. Perhaps if I had to pay for mounting and balancing I would not be so quick to swap out wheels

List of LCS participants for the final event of the season....

Per Jim's request, below is the list of participants, including their designated class and run group, for LCS #9:

1. Robb B. -- CUP -- Red
2. Tom H. -- ULTRA -- Red
3. Andy K. -- FI -- Blue
4. Roy S. -- FI -- Blue
5. Jack F. -- CUP -- Red
6. Kevin M. -- CUP -- Red
7. Mike B. -- CUP -- Red
8. Glen I. -- N/A MOD -- Red
9. Tim H. -- FI -- Blue
10. Peter K. -- ULTRA -- Blue
11. Brent B. -- CUP -- Red
12. Elias H. -- N/A Mod -- Blue
13. Norm L. -- ULTRA -- Blue
14. Dan C. -- N/A MOD -- Blue
15. Duane A. -- CUP -- Red
16. Tim T. -- FI -- Red
17. Eddie P. -- FI -- Red
18. Mark G. -- FI -- Blue
19. Shinoo M. -- N/A MOD -- Blue
2O. Mike W. -- CUP -- Red
21. Victor B. -- FI -- Blue
22. Greg L. -- FI -- Blue
23. David S . -- N/A -- Blue

All LCS participants will be receiving the official LCS Schedule directly from Jim .... Sunday's schedule is different than Monday's.

On Sunday, we will have 2 run groups consisting of "LCS-ONLY" participants and will be sharing the track with the West Coast Lotus Meet. There will also be a race on Sunday.

On Monday, LCS has the track exclusively ... we will have 2 run groups -- 6 practice sessions -- plus a TT and Race.

Please take note that all cars and trailers are required to park in the lower paddock for this event, as we will be running the 2.2 circuit. We plan on cordoning off the south-east portion of the lower paddock to serve as LCS-Central -- look for Robb's trailer. For those "LCS old timers", this is the same area we used for our inaugural LCS event back in 2008. Access to the upper paddock area and its facilities (where the members clubhouse is located) will be restricted, except during the noon hour and only for those who have pre-registered for the catered lunch to be served in the clubhouse. If you want a fantastic lunch and haven't reserved a spot yet, please contact Jim ... jplotus@yahoo.com

See you all in Pahrump!

Is the access to that paddock through the tunnel? And can I assume it's OK to drop off trailers on Saturday afternoon?

Andy,

Yes and Yes. They may even have the entrance/road that crosses the track open. In any event, if you need access to the tunnel and are having any difficulty, call me -- I should be around.

I gather you got a trailer -- congrats .... details, please.

Looks good .... I enjoyed my Featherlite very much.

Race ramps will make loading that much easier.
