Transponders at spring mtn

Because it's never failed me at our local circuit, i just keep the AMB secured in the stock "center console" thing by the cigarette lighter socket. Does this ping ok at spring mountain, or do I need to do it the "right" way?

can't wait!

cheers

Free SEMA exhibit hall tickets for Fri Nov 6!

From 2 of my friends, I was given 2 spare SEMA exhibit passes for Fri Nov 6. They are free to any past or present LCS participants, first come, first served. I don't have the tickets on hand- we have to meet with exhibitors to give it to us. On 1 ticket, we have to meet between 10-1030AM at the central hall area of the convention center friday morning.

Don't PM or message me here because i wont be checking it before tomorrow.

Mark

Eddie -
Call Allen - he usually brings the pads that he likes (Cobra? or something like that). I'm looking forward to trying the HT10's and Cobras, but I hear the HT10's are real hard on rotors and the Cobras are not.

I'll be going (more than likely). First I'll check out the reception/cocktail party at the Red Rock and then make like a lemming afterwards. The crowd will be split between bowling/karting, my guess being that the elite/elan and vintage crowd will opt for bowling (based on my twelve years of experience with the Jaguar club) and the Elige crowd will opt for karting. The Esprit crowd will probably opt for more drinks.

Might I make a suggestion - and this really comes after several years of scratching my head - Why is it that red group goes first? Most of us are usually trying to get our cars/selves set up and with the drivers meeting we end up scrambling to get onto the track for first session. Never fails - only half of us manage to get out when the track is hot and our session runs short if at all. Now the blue group guys roll in at 730AM on R888's, no trailer, therefore little to no tools or setup. Those are the cars that should be in the 1st group.

You know me - always trying to figure out how to squeeze out a few more laps!

Just a thought.

Might see you all at dinner tomorrow. Depends on how late I get on the road. Tell Robb I'm not a sure bet for dinner tomorrow, but I'll call him when I know for sure.

Bet u anything we're gonna hv 10-15 cars on track at all time. Then we all gonna vote for open track, no run group.

Well, I'm in blue group, and I'm trailering. That said, my car is prepped and ready to hit the track. If I was driving the car to the track, I'd have 30-45 minutes of prep work to do before tracking...

Maybe I should be in the red group?

you are 100% correct. The street car guys who are not as commited to catch cans, susp adjustment and unloading should go first.

Maybe we can appeal to Jim to test this theory this weekend??????

A lot of us in the blue group trailer. I thought you guys are in the red group because you are FASTER. If you're slower than me, you should be in the pink group.

I think WCLM is bringing 15+ cars themselves as they are sold out

Not even sure we want open track with them.... if their Karting last night was anything like their tracking then we are going to be skating on rocks all day

not to mention, 15 cars on this track is very tight, there is not a lot of safe passing areas and it is a small fast track
