wow... the video shows the impact & FWIW fortunantly the impact threw the miata up in the air instead of through the lotus. I would think if the car just went together w/o the energy being deflected up it could of been a LOT worse for both drivers involved.

Good thing the Elise is so low. Glad both drivers are doing ok.

Holy Cow. That was one heck of a hit. I know that both drivers a reported to be OK but my prayers are with them and their families. I've met David on several occasions and he's one heck of a driver. I'm just thankful God was smiling on them that day and that Lotus makes one tough little car.

I watched it once and was like what wreck...so I paid a bit more attention and holy crap that was not good. It kinda looked like the miata driver should have been able to move around him but hey in the moment...Im sure so many things are going on and it was just not able to be done. Wow, just wow...
