Gumball Rally at ButtonWillow

Hello Everyone,
In case you were unaware, the Gumball 3000 will be making a stop at Buttonwillow on Saturday August 9th after our day ends.

This is going to be great exposure for the LCS to a good potential customer. We would like to be able to have as many Lotus Challenge cars available to be on display in our paddock as possible from 5:30pm to 7:30pm in order to create hype for the series.

It would also be a great experience to see the excitement for those who can stick around.

We might even be able to wiggle our way into one of their raging after parties that night as well.

Robb

For Round 4:
Nothing yet.

Am I the only one not receiving them so far? Doesn't seem like anyone else is asking for them.
+1... Still haven't recieved certificates from SOW. I'm owed a ForcedFed and a Sector certificate.

I just checked the speedventures site and we have 16 lotus signed up for btw. Please reply here if you are planning on attending. So far the event looks light and we might be able to run together if we get to 20 or so. There is a possibilty that two new cup cars will be joining us as well. Jim

What kind of trailer did you buy? Also make sure you have the dealer install the electric brake modulator . I have had many problems with after market tow gear. If i remember correctly you have a ml mercedes they have issues getting tow hitches. Just thought you'd like to know. Jim

Noting special, just 16 foot, metal deck, open trailer...will only use it a few times a year, so I didnt think I needed anything more then that...

ML350 is at dealer getting everything installed, they are installing 10,000 lb after market hitch because the factory setup is currently not available. Also installing electronic controller. Dealer said that they have used the same setup on other ones without issues, so (knock on wood) I hope to be fine. They are also going to test with with one of the service managers boat/trailer tomorrow. trailer weighs 2300 lbs and the ML will tow 7200, so I im not pushing it too much.

Also, do you know of a good place in/near Vegas that I can store the trailer? No reason for me to bring it back to OH when the car will stay in Pahrump until the spring when I tow it back here.

Ask the track if you can store it there.Glad to hear you are having the dealer do the work. I knew that the factory tow accesories were unavailable. Make sure the tires on the trailer are rated for higher than 55 mph!!!
