Quinn is a fantastic driver -- she'd be a great addition to the LCS!

Q, if you want a long weekend of tracking, the "JackPack" will be there on Friday....call/email me if interested.

Question for you Buttonwillow attendees - anyone bringing their significant other? My wife wants to attend, but I know she'll be bored beyond belief if she's the only estrogen-based life form amongst us. Doug, will Margaret be present? Anyone else? I know B will be happy to assist where possible...

PS: Registered for BW - I'm back! (hopefully for good)

I told her that - and she still wants to attend. I believe she also plans on attending the October event as well...

The good thing at btw is air conditioning. Bring a laptop, movies and books. When Maria has joined me it was at Infineon and she stayed at the hotel in Napa and had "seriuos pampering" I doubt the super 8 can provide those services. It will be good to meet her . Oh and by the way try to have your car ready to race prior to Saturday. LOl

I don't think she believes you anymore John...especially when you come home with a broken car everytime.

Jim,
I'll be there.

Sounds like you folks have more than a full field. Guess I'll not be able to participate -- plus I don't have my car right now (thought I was gonna get it back yesterday 7/26 from FF, but haven't heard anything).

No, have not run with you folks before -- but I do have race experience, instructor experience and got my racing license thru BMWCCA folks back in 2002. NASA HPDE 1-4, Green Flag, Cobra Club, NCRA, etc. from 1999-2001. Instructed for NASA 2001-2003. Ran in NASA TT format in 2004. Karting with Russell and ProKart challenge folks (125cc shifter) from 2005-2007.

Just curious, is Hans device required by you folks?

Thanks, Rob.

You can participate with us folks. Because of the run groups format you will be placed in a run group . On Sunday we will have the time trial. Call John at Forcedfed and ask him to have your car ready. He is participating with his 380ff. Go to lotuschallengeseries.com site and read the rules section. You will need to order your number plate as soon as possible. In addition , you need to join on the site as well. any questions just pm me. Jim

Not really interested in racing the Lotus, maybe just time trials and fun.

Are number plates required? Or can I do the ghetto route -- aka tape for numbers? I'm not going to be running a lot of these events so don't really want a hard to remove vinyl numbers on my doors.

John and Casey are probably well aware of my car...more aware than they want to be.

I'll read up on the rules -- tech at track?

Time trials is what we are doing this year. Next year we will have a wheel to wheel component. As for the Tech there is no track side tech. You can have Casey tech the car for you. No ghetto numbers . If you want to participate you can buy static cling plates thru our sponsor . If you compete for the prizes you will be required to have sponsor stickers on your car as well. A small price to pay to run with a great group of men and women. Ask the participants if they are enjoying themselves. I know i am.

Rob,
I finished your car yesterday but it was late so I figured I'd just call you on Monday.
