Thanks for the post Mark White, very entertaining video!
![]() wow, lots of rubbing fenders and dropped wheels. The driver starts off the very beginning of the race with not giving an inch to the car in front (#29) that clearly has the corner, causing both to lose time. Then there are times it looks like he (the driver of car #81) is in no-man's land with his lines. ![]() Just my 2 cents.

You're welcome,
It looks like a lot of fun doesn't it? I'd like to have a go, in someone else's car of course! Mark

I would love to see a video from the first place car and see how he drove. I'm sure it was smooth compared to #81's drive, at least you would assume it was.

I have quite a few friends who race in a spec Miata series at Autobahn Country Club. Affordable wheel to wheel racing (well, guess it's all relative). They can be had for as little as $10,000. Nice one for mid to upper teens.
I'm currently in the process of trying to secure an Exige S and I've been catching grief that I should take the same $ to pay the $35,000 Autobahn initiation fee and put the balance to buy a spec Miata... |

First time on track for me was in a spec Miata, talk about sensory overload.

Very cool, it looks like a lot of fun! I think I'd be ok at taking fairly good driving lines, but man oh man I'm a long way off from passing other drivers in a head to head race like that, sure doesn't look easy - especially when overtaking (at least in the first video) seems to almost require bumping the other guy haha... PIT maneuvers allowed?
