Ooops, It's Raven Wing Performance, your source for the coolest alternative accessories for your Mazda Miata MX-5!
I hope you got the correct site.
Do you have a helmet?
If not, they will lend you one there.

We could caravan together Saturday 17th.......

Yep I found the right site. Figured it out when the link didn't work

Don't have a helmet yet, but the site says they have "clean" helmets for use. They even used the quotations .... hmmmmm...

Sounds good, I'll meet ya up in the morning so we can caravan there.

Welcome Chris! Three Elises so far!
Hope to see you there!

Thank goodness they have "clean" helmets as loaners.

I heard about one time the loaner helmets were infested with head lice and earwigs! One Earwig crawled in the driver's ear, penetrated the eardrum and deposited EGGS in his BRAIN!!! When he was driving the back straight his brain EXPLODED, making an awful mess. Thank goodness I have my own helmet!

This will be a SPECTACULAR SATURDAY!

4 Elises take over the UNIVERSE!

PS: James, I have a ZAMP helmet too (don't know the model) but it's cool!
I use it to scare the cat when I'm not on the track!

+1 here for another n00b on the track, was going to start in the LCS but I think I'll get some experience with this first.

FIVE ELISES DOMINATES THE STREETS OF WILLOW!

Simon, James, Mark.....this is the "first" track session.
It will definitely improve your driving skills and you'll have a blast
Follow the instructors input. Many will ride along with you if you allow them to. Use the Skid Pad to learn even more about your car/driver interaction, then apply what you learned on the track.
This "Experience" is safer than the canyon driving. Use common sense, don't push yourself to the limit (at least the "first" time) and you'll be thrilled with the results. My "reward" is bringing the Elise back home, dirty, but intact! The HDPE has been one of the highlights of my life. I hope it will be one of yours too!

Danny McKeever's Fast Lane driving school is top notch -- in fact, if you can, do the two day program that weekend. They get into more advanced techniques for day 2.

FINAL COUNTDOWN......

HEY!!!!
James, Mark, Simon, Chris!
ARE YOU READY??
It's 9 days away!
Are you taping up the rockers with BLUE TAPE?
Checking the toe-link and lug nut torque?
Final fluid checks, tire pressures?
Avoid driving in case you pick up a nail or screw in your racing tires?

Most importantly: DID YOU HIRE AN UMBRELLA GIRL????

I guess the painters tape would go on before we get there since there won't be any time to put it on..

Anything else vital that we should be aware of?

Oh, what's the traffic on the way there like so I know what time I should leave home

I wasn't planning on the blue tape thing. I'm heading into my 7500 mile service and have it scheduled for Friday the day before so I'm hoping that I'll be all set to go after that.

I'm most definitely looking forward to this.

...and "avoid driving" ... I don't know how to do that.

Are we meeting somewhere Saturday morning to drive up together?

I'm going to leave Thousand Oaks at 6 AM, we should get there before 8 AM.
We can meet at Thousand Oaks Lotus at 6 AM, since it's easy to find.

Or we can pick you up on the way if it's out of the way for you.
