don't i remember that there's only one belt on these engines?
......or was it an 05 lotus...or what?
i'll have to look.
i know the serpentine on the corolla XRS is a PIA, even with the front tinware off.
(i pasted a bent corolla back together)

The whole tensioner was replaced since it did not seem to be holding hydraulic pressure.

WHAT IS TEH BEST WAY TO REPLACE THE BELT,IS THE CAR WILL START WITHOUT THE BELT.

Well done. Thread from the dead. The belt drives the water pump and alternator, so better not run without it.
