Paste wax or liquid wax? Which is preferred? Is there a difference in performance?

The performance is the same with paste or liquid. it just depends on which you prefer for application.

For streak free windows use Invisible glass and wipe it off with newspaper (yes I'm serious).

Invisible Glass is awesome. The first time I used it was just on the outside of the Elise windshield. It was beautiful but really showed me how dirty the inside of the windshield was . Cleaned the inside and the glass was completely clear.

Better yet, spray it on, wipe it around WITH YOUR BARE HANDS, then squeegee off for a completely hassle-free application & effectiveness. Just make sure your hands aren't all greasy 1st, before you do this!

I agree to the Stoner Invisible Glass product, wholeheartedly.

I also use my REJEX (instead of Rain-X) on the exterior of the glass, once cleaned.

Anyone interested in seeing in person how my car comes out and appears 1st hand - I will be at the Original British Card Day Show, Picnic & Concourse at Lily Pons this upcoming Sunday.

I have a makita polisher and a system 1 3 disc polishing kit,=. (wool, med-foam and fine-foam). These are about 8-10" in diameter.

I need some smaller diameter discs for another project - where does one get smaller diameter disks that screw onto the makita shaft (3/8-16 thread or thereabouts)...

Probably 4 inch and less diameter...

I like Zymol products. I use everything from their vinyl and leather care stuff to the wash and wax. It can be alot of work to do everything in one day, but the results are pretty fantastic. You just have to be careful, don't wear a stainless steel watch while washing or waxing the Lotus!
