Direct Lift 4 post lift

I'm just about to make this purchase. If anyone has anything to say about the product, vendor or alternatives I'd appreciate it.

Thanks,
Ronnie

EDIT: Sorry, the vendor is http://www.bestbuyautoequipment.com/default.asp

Maybe check these places out. I need one bad. Laying on the floor doesn't suit my bones anymore.

Great prices on that first one but I know Direct lift sells more than all the others combined and has a good reputation. The second one is also selling direct lifts for what looks like comparable prices. The one I listed is the only one I've found with a package deal including two jacks (for changing tires, something I do a lot of) for that low of a price.

The write-up on it looks impressive. Built in an ISO9001 certified factory. And it appears you get a lot for your money. Hmmm...I could see using this set-up. Group buy sounds like a good idea. Thanks for the link!

I called the site. They only have the newer version which has a new, safer locking mechanism. That lift is called the Direct Lift Pro Park LL. This package is $2595. Shipping from California to Boise is $450 but they have other distribution sites.

They said with this package there is no group buy price.

Find out where it's made. I'd pass on the china ones. My friend has 2 Bendpaks and swears by them. I've seen them and that's what I'd get

I have had this same lift (older version) for a number of years and it has been great. bought it from here:

http://www.derekweaver.com/

I was told he is the main dealer for the U.S. (don't know if that is true but the price was good at the time)

Any other questions let me know.

For you Nick, it's free, you just have to agree to lose to me at the Fairgrounds.

These have hydraulic tanks that go underground right? If not I want to get one haha. Don't know if my parents would like me jackhammering their garage floor.

No. 110 volt motor pushing self contained hydraulics. They don't even have to be bolted to the floor.

Oh no way. Where do I sign? Days of jack stands and potential car smashing face situations are over! How high of a clearance do you need?

I have the 2post lift from the same company.. fwiw, I wished it had more adjustability (swing arms) and a better locking mechanism along with a higher lift.. (I'm 5'11'')
