I don't see that anywhere. Looked everywhere too. Just re-logged in from scratch and clicked all the possible links. Looks like the 7/7/06 updates are not necessarily important since the Esprit has a lot of files updated 7/6/06.

By the way, anyone doing this should get Firefox with the DownThemAll plugin. I just grabbed the Esprit manuals for kicks in about 5 minutes with one click.

Can't find Elise service manual

I subscribed to the LotuscarsUSA.com technical service site (24 hour access) to DL or view the service manual for my '06 Elise. All I seem to have visibilty of is the Lotus Emissions Information Portal. I don't see any reference to service manuals or Tech Bulletins (other than emissions tech bulletins and some recall stuff).

I stumbled on to a page that is for admin login to the technical information portal - that is where is suspect the info I am looking for is but there does not seem to be any way for a paid subscriber to access that area of the site.

Can anyone provide any help with this? I feel like I just sent $25 down the drain!

Any help would be appreciated. My 24 hours ends 7/16 at 11:50 PM PDT.
thanks,
greg

Those are the service manuals. Click on the three sections that mention Elise and download all of the files. When you open them up, it will be clear.

The only reason it mentions "emissions" is that US emissions law requires this stuff to be put online. Or something like that.

Talking Thanks Guys!

Really, really useful information. I registered and got all the manuals in about 20 minutes.

BTW there is a nifty plug-in for firefox call "down them all" which will scan a page for url links and queue and download them all at once.

Worked perfectly for this ...

George

The site say emmissions. I assume there is more?

Can someone post the table of contents?

Thanks.

BTW, documents do not require Flash to download

Just a tip for those of us in the non-Flash world who can't use the lotuscars front page: the service manuals themselves do not require Flash.

Go directly to http://www.lotuscars.com/ltip/default.asp and hit the "To become a subscriber CLICK HERE" button as shown in a previous posting. I was able to create an account, send $25 via Paypal, and then it immediately returned me to the "information portal" where I could select categories and download PDF files. No Flash necessary.

I haven't checked lately, but I believe the "ECM reprogramming" is the down-loadable re-flashes for the ECM - not the ability to "reprogram" the ECM. This would be for someone that has the Lotus Scan Tool (if there is anyone that has actually bought the tool) to be able to download the latest re-flash version to load into the ECM.

The Euro Toyota site wouldn’t let me register. I went to the US site, registered and paid. There are repair manual downloads there too. The publication numbers are different though. Does anyone know of RM744U under 2000 Celica is the right cross-reference for RM733E that is supposed to be on the Euro site?

Also, any idea what the US cross-references are for Euro numbers RM929E (2001 Corolla) and RM930E for the C64 manual transmission? Both are noted by Michael Sands as the correct manuals.

Then why not just buy them from LCU's web site and "keep the money in the family"? If they are the same, you might as well let Lotus make a small bit of profit and help to keep them in business...

It will do this if you are logged into one session and try to open another and log in. I was able to download all the Elise info today with the exceptions of Chapters 04, 13, 17, and 21......"Page Cannot Be Found" error so these links are dead for now. Opera worked in part but I ended up using IE to get to the service sections, none displayed with Opera.
