ECM reprogramming

At the top of the document download page, there is a link "Click here for ECM Reprogramming Documents". When you follow that, there is a page that tells you it is an extra $100. It has a paypal link but when I click that the page just reloads. I don't get taken to paypal or anything.

What are the ECM reprogramming documents?
Are they worth the $100?

thanks for providing that link.you saved me big time.i was using firefox and thats all i have.once i paid.it did not direct me to the the log in page.said file not found.same as you.pissed me off.so i went back through the last few pages of this thread and there was my answer.so if this happens to anyone else.use the above link to sign back in and start downloading.another tip i got for firefox was to load the app called download them all.it was well worth doing.very cool app.it took 3 minutes to download all the service manual at one time.

Need to replace my PDF of Section(Body Care and Repair BQ) from 111R Service Manual

I paid for and downloaded the complete 2004 service manual/notes from Lotus US website about 3 years ago, using the links in this thread. I'm having some repairs carried out this week after a fender bender, and went to view and print the section "Body Care and Repair" to find the file is corrupt. I hope that someone is kind enough to email me a copy of their pdf.

I haven't used my paypal for years and wasn't able to pay and download again.
My email is gordonatbla-archdotcom

Should there be a section titled "Exige S/C" ? It is listed in the "Introduction & Index 07-01 Update.pdf"

If you can assist, please PM me, thanks!

This is what was available, July 2009:

Introduction & Index 07-01 Update
01. TDP Technical Data - Engine 06-02 Update
02. TDQ Technical Data - Vehicle 06-02 Update
03. AH Chassis
04. BQ Bodycare Repair
05. BR Body Fittings
06. CI Front Suspension
07. DH Rear Suspension
08. EH Engine
09. EMP Engine Management
10. FJ Transmission 07-01 Update
11. GH Wheels and Tires
12. HG Steering
13. JJ Braking System
14. KH Engine Cooling
15. LK Fuel System
16. MP-Electrics
16a. MP12 Wiring Diag 05MY
16b. MP12c Wiring Diag 06MY
17. OI Maintenance & Lubrication
18. PL Air Conditioning, Heating, Ventilation
19. QH Clutch
20. WD Airbag System
22. Exige Supercharged Supplement
26. 2-Eleven Supplement

At first I thought 07. DH, Rear Suspension, was missing. It doesn't show up in the list of available downloads, but if you do a search for it, it is there.

I'm not sure why the two supplements break with consecutive numbering.

Also, there are service bulletins through 2009-02, although the file naming schemes seem to vary.

There is also a lot of Esprit information on the site, but I didn't delve into that too much, except to note that the original Elise introduction and index may be found there

Some Help Please...

I did manage to download most of the Federal Elise Service Manual. I managed to miss #21 Passive Restraint and the #23? 211 Supplement. Does any body have this? I'm a stickler for completeness.

The Introduction and Index section lists "Passive Restraint (North America)" as section WD. Section WD would seem now to fall under #20, Airbag System. I imagine this has superseded #21.

I have 22. 211 Supplement, but none say passive restraint.

If you pm someone your email address, maybe myself or someone else will be kind enough to email them to you.

Does anyone have section "JJ Brakes" they can send me? I apparently missed it when I originally downloaded last year.

TIA!

Has anyone compared this to the earlier euro version? I've had that for ages and don't want to bother collecting the Fed version if they are pretty much the same. Anyone interested in comparing?

Call your favorite dealer to purchase the hard copy of the manual. And I'm glad you are willing to pay -- as you will pay dearly for them.

The other option is to pay $25 to Lotus via the website, download the PDFs, have them printed and bound in green. You'll save about a bazzillion dollars doing it that way.

I almost purchased the hard copy until I opened it and saw that it just looked like the PDFs printed and bound with an enormous price tag placed on them.
