Engine telltale after battery discharge
I have a new 2009 Exige S 260, and it sat in my garage for a little over two weeks while I was out of town and generally dealing with boring work stuff. During that time, the battery discharged. Yes, I have a battery tender, but I didn't think two weeks at 70 degrees would be a problem. My mistake. At any rate, I tried to start the car several times before hooking up the battery tender hoping I would get lucky, but I did not. Now after the battery is charged, everything starts fine, BUT my engine telltale is now lit continuously. The car drives fine, as far as I can tell. I really don't want to drive 100 miles to my dealer, so is there a way to take care of this? I apologize in advance for my lack of knowledge here. I am relatively new to all this.
