gas pedal pad part number

Does anybody know the part number for the gas pedal pad, the curvy part that is bolted to the arm? I would like to order one. Also, a link to the site would be appreciated.

I search lotusgarage.com but have no know idea which part is the correct one.

Thanks,
ct

Thanks Arno,

This seems to be correct. I searched Lotusgarage.com with the part no. and came up with padthrottle pedal.

Not to threadjack but just yesterday I was out driving when my right foot slipped (I was heel-to-toeing) and the gas pedal went ALL THE WAY to the floor! I was like WTF, mate?

The exact same pedal pad part mentioned in this thread had loosened itself (there is only a single nut/bolt securing it) and rotated/wedged to the right 90 degrees, whereas the little black pedal stopper was almost touching the brake pedal. The pedal surface area was MUCH greater in this configuration, so much so it took care not to press the brake when I wanted the gas...

So I get home and wedged myself under the dash (I hate working around the pedal box) and realign/reattach/tighten the pad back up. Perhaps a dab of threadlocker would be beneficial to avoid a future reoccurance... we'll see about that tonight.

Anyway... eveyone! Go check to see if your gas pedal is wobbly or loose. If so, tighten it up before the 90 degree slip happens!

While you're down there, why not look into making the gas pedal height adjustment and brake pedal adjustments posted about elsewhere on this site. They work. Until you adjust that gas pedal pad, be careful about flooring the car...since your gas pedal stop (bolt with rubber press-on tip) is not functional when the pad is spun around.

Here's a pic of another thing to do..to protect feet and shoes...you can see the gas pedal pad and throttle stop in the pic too:

That's a pricey part for a little hunk of aluminum. I was thinking about screwing one of these onto it to make HNT easier
