HELP PLEASE! AC Line Rattle on LOTUS!!

Ok folks really need your help. I have been dealing with the AC line rattle against the chassis noise since I got my 06 Elise. While I was changing the oil I wrapped the line with insulator foam and tied it with plastic ties. This did not help because the vibration is occurring in the sill towards the front. As a matter of fact I think it is actually worse.

My question because this noise is really ruining my experience (loud metallic rattle). How can I get to the AC lines going into the sills from the front passenger side of the car? I want to get in there and put insulator and tie wraps like I did with the back. Any help is GREATLY APPRECIATED!

Hehehe..To be clear as to why I am asking for help. This is not the "expected" Lotus creaks, buzzing, squeaks, vibrations, rattles, etc.. This is a very loud metallic clanging that none of my other Lotus owning friends have and that is extremely annoying and loud.

Nobody has dealt with the AC lines on the elise? I am sure somebody must know how to access them from the front in the side sill... Let me know thanks.

I've got something clanging in my sill.

My car is going in for a bunch of things at Mullholland Motor Sports.

New radiator, new thermostat, new steering rack.

I'll see what's up...I'll ask the guys.

Or call Stephen at Mulholland Motor Sports (in L.A.) and ask him.

Tell him Larry recommended you call.

Hi Viper thanks for the link. Yea I was on that thread. I actually did the mod mentioned of covering the ac line with insulators. But like I said, its only on the back the lines go through the whole sill and apparently in my case are rattling towards the front. Noise completely stops if I turn off compressor and is not related to blower at all. Thanks guys for any ideas!

I wonder if you can access them by removing the front wheel liner?

There is good access if you remove the plastic sill cover and part of the dash. Mine is currently apart if you want a picture of how it looks. There are several pieces of foam inside the chassis that are suppose to isolate the lines running forward and aft. Be careful reaching into the chassis, it can be a bloody experience with the sharp metal edges and protruding screws (ask me how I know..).
