I have a P0420 code - LotusTalk

P0420 Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold

MIL came on last night when I started the car in a parking lot. After reading the code with my scanner I saw it was a P0420 - so something to do with my cat?

I installed the Stage 2 about 1500 miles ago and have had no problems. I erased the code to see if it would come back on and it has not yet - but I have only driven it about 10 miles since then (including at full throttle).

Could this be related to the Stage 2 install? Or, is it just a

issues and should not pop back up?

Search did not actually show much on that specific code.

Still running the stock cat (no decat or high performance cat)? How many miles are on your car and are you the original owner?

If you are just running the stock cat, it is probably just a one off code and probably won't return.

Yes, I am still running the stock cat. I am the original owner and I have 4300 miles on the car. Stage 2 is my only mechanical upgrade.
