Middle Jack Point

Quick question, I need remove my tires on our Exige. When using the middle point that's right under the door, (jack point "A"?) do I need to take off the under panel first??

Thanks

Jeff

No. Only the rear jack points need to have the panel removed. Make sure to use a hockey puck between your jack and the sticker.

Skibum beat me too it

the middle jack point doesn't require removal of any panels. that point will lift the whole side of the car so you can do both front and rear tires on one side at a time. Make sure to loosen the lugs a bit before getting it in the air as it's slightly unstable and you don't want to be cranking on the lugs with it up in the air. I usually use a hockey puck on top of the jack saddle to not damage the underside of the car. Some people have had issues with the jack slipping out on the side so be careful.

I had to do this recently, and my jack failed. Luckily I put wood underneath of the car, just on each side of the jack... so when the jack deflated... the car slowly rested on the wood. I had many towels on the wood and on the jack to have a cushion.. everything worked great.
